Turning point

This afternoon I turned out the lights in the studio. As I headed towered the door I realized that today was the last day that I would turn out the lights and close the door on this studio that has been the first major incubation step of Twice blushed. I stopped in the double glass doorway, turned to look inside at the empty space and cried. Two plus years to build up a business and space and less than two weeks to take it apart. Finally (after how many minuets I do not know) I closed the doors.

After spending the first two real years of my business in that space I am completely angered by the two people that caused the problems in that beautiful space, but as I look ahead at I feel that the unknown outcome will bring a better development for Twice Blushed. …stalled but not defeated.

Twice Blushed is Pairing with Blue Sky bridal!

Over the past few months Jen of Blue Sky Bridal and I have been discussing the possibility of pairing our business to better serve you our brides. So often we refer many of you to each other’s boutique that it would be far easier on you the customer to have both boutiques under the same roof. Given the recent events in my studio the time couldn’t be better.

sad day

AHHHHH!!!!! As a small business owner every day I dread walking up to my business to find that something horrible like a fire or robbery is waiting to great me in the morning. This morning I walked into a studio that had water running from the ceiling and pudling on the carpet and furniture!!! One of the irresponsible renters on the 3^rd floor did not call the building manager when her water tank started leaking. It dripped down through 3 floors and into my studio. ALL dresses are safe but not the furniture. I have been toweling off and moving furniture all day. If you have a box fan or dehumidifier you could loan for a few days I would greatly appreciate it! Paper Flowers
