The Dress:
Blush ruffled bodice has the silhouette of a strapless bias cut a-line that hangs from the hips. The bodice detail is shades of ivory and blush silk chiffon strips that have been hand ruffled and and applied to a reclaimed bodice of a, if I may, rather drab dress. (That's why I am remaking them!) The skirt and removable back ruffles are constructed of an ivory cotton satin blend. This light weight dress is great for a garden or beach wedding.

Tradition:

To add a pinch of tradition what look is complete without a veil. This week you have two mini's to choose from. the great thing about the mini veil is versatility. It can be worn high on the head giving you a length that will just sweep your shoulders, or to show your sweet styled locks wear the veil at the nape. This lower placement will also give you a little extra length with the veil ending roughly at the elbows or mid back.

That's right flowers that are not well...flowers. Local artist Kellie Dunn creates "Novel Botanicals" amazingly realistic flower bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages by upcycling paper. Kellie constructs the petals from already recycled paper (double whammy for you Greenies), photographs, and magazine spreads creating hidden images with in the flower. The best part is Kellie combines the scent free beauties with gears from old watches, small buttons, and other tiny trinkets to create the details within the flower and leaves. ...did I mention no wilting involved?
